Trevor Squires

 Welcome

I'm a PhD student at Clemson University's School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. I am currently working under Dr. "Lance" Ouyang in the Operations Research department. Here you will find a brief overview of my academic career as well as some additional materials that I've produced. My research interests are a mix of linear algebra, nonlinear optimization, algorithm design, and machine learning. The running theme among my favorite topics is numerical optimization.  This manifests itself in different research areas such as

    • First-order algorithm analysis
    • Lower complexity bounds
    • Numerical linear algebra
